Memorial Day Weekend

What a wonderful weekend I had with my family. We went camping to a great place in Maggie Valley called Pride Resort. It is the cleanest, safest place we've camped with kids. They have 2 fishing ponds, a nice pool/hot tub, putt putt golf course, play ground & live music on Saturday nights. There are RV sights, tent sights & also cabins & trailer's for rent. If you are looking for a relaxing get away that is close to Asheville this is it!
The kids fished, swam, road bikes, made tons of friends, I got very sun burned (ha ha), cooked a lot but yet it was relaxing. It's nice to have time away from home to wind down, cause if you're like me & your home you will find somethingh to do (laundry, house cleaning, yard work) & there will be no relaxing involved! In The Beginning

Finally!!! My first blog post-As a busy mother of 3, full time working, career thankful, church volunteering woman you would think I could find tons of free time...ha ha! It's a crazy way to live but I wouldn't know any different. My goal in creating this blog page is for girls, ladies, women etc like me to have a place where we can chat about all our "craziness" without having to "put on a show" or be something were not, just BE. I have learned SO much in my short but full life that I can't wait to share. My main thing is: NONE OF US ARE PERFECT! We are imperfect people in an imperfect world loving a perfect GOD & I am SO thankful that He loves me back...just the way I am! One of my favorite books of all time is "Confessions Of A Good Christian Girl" (the secrets women keep & the grace that saves them)...it is the best book of different, REAL womens stories that are taken from women sitting on our church pews every Sunday. I hope to post a discussion about this book in the near future...it is very encouraging.
